The band from Massachussetts made incredible strides in 2001 with release of their breakthrough effort, Break the Cycle. The album sold a staggering five million copies in the US, earning the album five time platinum status in the US. It remains to be Staind’s biggest selling effort to date. Upon its release, the album went straight to number 1 on the Billboard 200. Meanwhile, it’s lead single, “It’s Been A While,” charted at number 5 on the Billboard Hot 100 and topped the Alternative chart. Staind continued their amazing success with follow up efforts, Shades of Grey, Chapter V, Illusion Progess, and their self titled seventh album, charting at number 1 and within the top 10 on the Billboard 200.

Grunge rock powerhouse Seether from South Africa made great waves in 2004, with the release of their smashing hit, “Broken,” featuring Amy Lee. The single went to number 9 on the Mainstream Rock chart and later earned quadruple platinum in the US. The band continue to make their mark on the US market with subsequent singles, including chart topping work, “Remedy” and “Fake It.”

Anybody listening to Hoobstank know about their magnificent hit, “Reason.” The song that was spawned from their sophomore effort with the same title landed at a cool number 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 and earned quadruple platinum in the US.

Hinder broke out in 2005 with their debut album Extreme Behavior which went triple platinum in the US. The album spawned mega hits including 4x time platinum single, “Lips of an Angle” and “Get Stoned.” Last year, the band dropped their latest album, Back to Life.
