The first day for the Dave Matthews Band at the Freedom Mortgage Pavilion will be on Friday, July 10th. If you just want to be at one of these performances, it's never a bad idea to come to the first one. Here are a few reasons why. The band tends to be a lot fresher, even if they're coming off performances in other locations. Also, the first day with the DMB is usually when they'll be singing all of the songs you know and love from the band. As the days pile on, they're known to dig deeper into their bag of tricks.

The first night of the Dave Matthews Band here in Camden is going to take place on July 10th. If you're a veteran of these DMB summer shows, you might know that the first night could be the best night. A lot of times, as the hours pile on, we tend to get more covers, and Dave and the gang do an awesome job of feeling the crowd and improvising the show on the fly. Yet, if you're here for Ants Marching and the different tracks that made you fall in love with the Dave Matthews Band in the first place, then this could be the perfect day for you.
These shows for the 2026 tour are getting a little shorter. That's one of the things that you're going to want to keep in mind! In other years, you got doors at 4 pm with the main show starting at 7:30. That's not going to be the case; you've got doors at 6 with Dave and the boys taking the stage around an hour and a half later. Still, you're getting "The Space Between" or "Crash Into Me" live renditions. Don't be surprised, though, if they trot out a setlist that doesn't necessarily feature 100% Dave Matthews Band original songs.
If you're just going to be here for one day, then it could make sense to try and go all out. What does that mean? That means you're looking for spots at the front or even on the lawn where you're up on your feet all day vibing! This is what these shows were made for. The problem with being on a 2-day pass is that by the second night, your feet are hurting. At this one, if you're going to be here for one night only, it could make sense to try and stretch those legs out.
