The American Indie Rock group, The War on Drugs are known worldwide for their hard hitting sound that transform any venue into a seriously unforgettable night. The perfect concert for music fans as the band consists of a talented mix of musicians, with Adam Granduciel (lyrics, vocals, guitar), David Hartley (bass), Robbie Bennett (keyboards), Charlie Hall (drums), Jon Natchez (saxophone, keyboards) and Anthony LaMarca (guitar).

The War on Drugs began playing together back in 2005, and kick started their career with the studio album, Wagonwheel Blues – this was released later in 2008 and brought together a collaboration of sound between them that highlighted a niche that was missing in the genre. The band was founded by close collaborators Granduciel and Kurt Vile, but Vile left shortly after the album release to move forward as as solo musician. Next came their second studio album Slave Ambient was released in 2011 which grabbed the attention of so many music critics and fans a like and after nothing but a positive reaction the band hit the road and were able to tour non stop!!

With all of this behind them, unlike some bands at the time, they kept on smashing it and there was only one thing to do next, create a third album. In 2014, Lost in the Dream was created! The album took their career up in the world, with enourmous exposure. Their previous member Charlie Hall joined the band as its full-time drummer during the recording process and additions were made to the line up such as a feature from saxophonist Jon Natchez and additional guitarist Anthony LaMarca accompanying the band for its world tour.

Just last year TWOD came back with another record, this one of course was titled 'A Deeper Understanding' – their fourth studio album and now they are taking it to the road to perform to their dedicated fan base… get ready to be there!!
