Pantera is a prolific groove metal icon that dominated the industry during their prime. In 1990, they released their highly-regarded album, Cowboys from Hell. The album spawned the title track, and “ Cemetery Gates” marked the band’s first appearance on the charts, entering the Billboard 200. By 1992, the band became one at the forefront of the second wave of American heavy metal. Their follow-up album, Vulgar Display, soared to 44 on the Billboard 200. In 1994, Pantera dominated the chart, topping the Billboard 200 with their seventh effort Far Beyond Driven.
This 2023, the band is set to perform hit singles, plus crowd pleasers with their current line-up. The band comprises surviving members Phil Anselmo and Rex Brown. Meanwhile, legendary guitar god Zakk Wylde will fill the late Dimebag Darrel’s original position, while Anthrax drummer Charlie Benante will fill in for the beloved and late Vinnie Paul.
The band is bringing along a new wave of American heavy metal icons, Lamb of God. The Grammy-nominated band has released several gems, such as Ashes of the Wake, Sacrament, Wrath, and Resolution. Last year, Lamb of God dropped their latest effort, Omens, which peaked at number 15 on the Billboard 200.
