Grammy-Award-winning artist, Nas, is one of the most prolific rappers of the ‘90s. His monumental debut release, Illmatic, is considered the most influential hip-hop albums of all time. The record has also been regarded as one of the landmark albums that revived the East Coast hip-hop scene. Moreover, some critics acknowledged that no other albums reflect the sound of New York hip-hop better than Illmatic. Commercially, Illmatic performed well on the charts, peaking at number 12 on the Billboard 200 countdown. The album was preceded by singles, “Halftime,” “It Ain’t Hard to Tell,” “Life’s A Bitch,” “The World is Yours,” and “One Love.”

After his remarkable debut, Nas released fourteen more highly-acclaimed studio albums. Notably, his 2020 album, King’s Disease, won the Grammy Award for Best Rap Album at the 63rd Annual Grammy Awards. The Wu-Tang Clan comprises RZA, GZA, Inspectah Deck, U-God, Ghostface Killah, Method Man, Raekwon, Masta Killa, and Cappadonna.
